Does anyone know what time on Thurday DC's 1st round NCAA game is? Is it going to be televised? If so, what network? ESPN? CBS? We watched the SoCon Tournament final vs. Charleston and found the team really fun to watch. We're in California and hoping to be able to see another!

I also saw that game against C of C! It was really exciting. I can't find the NCAA schedule anywhere, though

It is the first game being played in Buffalo Thursday so that probably makes it 12 or 12:30 local time--morning for you in California. I would guess that it will get at best partial coverage on either ESPN or ESPN2 depending on what other games are on at the same time--there seems to be quite a bit of interest in the Maryland team (ACC after all) so Davidson fans might benefit from that and get some coverage. Check your local listings or sports section on Thursday. When Davidson played Ohio State at the tournament last year the game was not on TV as I recall, but I could be mistaken.

Go 'Cats!

Here is the link from the Davidson website with the game info:

Looks like the game is only being televised along the east coast from Maryland to Florida. The CBS stations in the rest of the nation will be televising other games.

I'll be in Buffalo. If you can't get the game on tv there is always the Davidson internet radio braodcast at http://www.teamline.cc/free_listen?teamcode=1143&eventcode=6&status=PFU

If the passes aren't all given out, you can watch it free online at http://www.ncaasports.com/mmod

Thanks very much for the March Madness On Demand idea. I've signed up and gotten my "ticket."

I had hoped the game would be shown on local cable so I could Tivo/DVR it to watch at a more "normal" time - the game is being played at 9:30 AM PDT. But CBS/ESPN have decided there are insufficient DC fans west of Asheville to show it out here.

So, does anyone know how to record an on-line internet streaming broadcast onto my hard drive - or is that even possible?

I know that its definitely possible because I've downloaded tennis matches that were streaming online, but I have no idea how to do it.

Sad but proud...good game!

I really thought for a while they would win--but it seemed as though all of a sudden they realized waht they were about to do adn fell apart. Oh well; they certainly played a more than respectable game. Perhaps they would have beaten Stanford!
