It is my understanding that the average SAT score for admission into Honors for the 2011- 2012 freshman class was a 1571 (math and critical reading only). Does anyone know what was the average ACT?

Also, does anyone know what was the minimum cut-off score on the SAT and ACT for the 2011-2012 incoming class?

I don’t think there is a cut-off other than what is required by the State Board of Regents because other factors are considered. There could be people with scores lower than someone who was rejected. I am pretty sure there are cases like that.

The stats I see published are from 2010-2011:
Honors Program Students 2350
2010–2011 First-Year Class 525
Average First-Year High School GPA 4.06
Average First-Year SAT 1471 (CR&M)
Middle-Range SAT 1440 – 1490

I can’t imagine the average score going up by 100 point…could happen though.

Thanks gamomof3. I agree with you.

The ACT for incoming Foundation Fellows was 35 and SAT 1559
