<p>Dance Dance Revolution, or DDR seems to not just be an asian game anymore. In west virginia, public schools are instituting DDR into their PE curriculums to make them more fit. Heh, I find that lame that some kids would rather step to teh beat than actually play a sport.</p>

<p>I'm in IL where gym is required, and we also have DDR in our classes. It is mostly as a fun alternative to working out. It is definitely very popular although still atleast 50% of the kids who play tend to be Asian. :)</p>
