<p>Go to ASU or another school. Look to see who has some bio research you may be interested in. My nephew had the same experience a decade ago. Great student - top NYC prep school. So, guidance office found College of Wooster - he thought he would just stay one year, loved it, stayed four years, leadership experiences, faculty research, etc. Got into every law school he applied to - Columbia, Georgetown, Vanderbilt, etc. So, all is not lost. BTW, College of Wooster still has spaces for first year students.</p>

i’m so sorry for what happened but i think the best you can do now is take a gap year, it might be another life changing experience.</p>
<p>Would it rule you out as freshman if you took community college courses in the time being?</p>
<p>Look for peers in your desired field and maybe impress a prof, etc.</p>
