<p>I turned in all my applications yesterday as that was the deadline, but on the common app now for those schools it says "Downloaded on 01/02/2012" next to the 01/01 deadline. What does this mean? Is it a problem?</p>
<p>If you submitted by the deadline (1/1) then you’re fine. The “Downloaded 01/02/2012” is just to show you that your colleges have downloaded your app and that it’s in their system. No worries.</p>
<p>No it’s fine. I think the college’s computer system downloads the app the day after. This happened with all of my applications (and I submitted them well before the deadline).</p>

<p>I was also worried, so I googled it and found this thread! I think this forum is very valuable, especially to me since I don’t have anyone to talk to about colleges and applications here in Sweden.</p>

<p>Same here SwedishCrisis. I go to a not-so-good public school in Texas and there is absolutely no information or support for anyone wanting to go to an out of state or top school. This forum has truly been my saving grace, I don’t think I would have been able to get into any top universities without it.</p>
