<p>So I've been finished with my application for a few days now except my teacher hasn't uploaded my recommendation yet!! I've been reminding him frequently, but I don't know what's going on, especially since he told me he started it three weeks ago.
Unfortunately, waiting for him, I did not submit my application yesterday and the Yale website is down. Was the deadline yesterday night at 11:59, or tonight at 11.59???????

<p>Are you using the common application? Do you have additional teachers who wrote recommendations, if so swap him out. If not possible, and you have additional applications to submit, add another teacher or two to your list on the common application so if one doesn’t get it done you have a backup.</p>
<p>you can submit your application and Yale accepts letters of Rec. and scores after the deadline. The only thing you can’t do is change the teacher who is writing it for you on your common app. so just submit it and then remind him on Monday.</p>
<p>Just looked and Yale only allows two recommenders. If you have all your data saved you could delete Yale from your list and add it back and choose different recommenders if you have them. Otherwise send it and talk with your teacher.</p>
<p>You have a hard deadline to meet, but your teacher’s deadline is soft. Since you have reminded the teacher several times already, perhaps you need to ask your counselor for support to gently remind the teacher.</p>
<p>@chocolatepanacea, the deadline is tonight at 11:59 PM. You really should have submitted when your part was done, but you still have a few hours. </p>
<p>Rather than panic next time, learn how to find information on the web. The information about your hard deadline and the recommender’s soft deadline was readily available. </p>
