<p>Is there a deadline for accepting an invitiation to a masters program and does it vary by insituition? My son has been trying to weigh acceptances and is waiting on one more. (they are dragging their feet on releasing acceptance/rejections) That one though would be the cheapest even without aid. Another is more expensive but if you maltriculate, they have assistantships you can apply for but NOT guaranteed. He is under pressure to say yes or no soon, but no date before 05/01 was given.
Is it common for graduate schools to have varying dates, unlike undergrad which is 05/01? One student told me they gave 2 deposits when pressured last year because of the same thing which I thought was unethical!</p>
<p>Usually (and ironically) it falls on Tax Day, April 15.</p>
