My teachers and I wanted to know if the deadline for mailing the school forms, teacher evaluations, mid-year report is the same as the Regular Decision Deadline or can they reach a day or two later or should they be postmarked before the deadline??

Can i courier the forms, ie, DHL, fedEx, etc.?

Can i fax the forms??

Does this vary from college to college??

Thanks!

Strictly speaking, the deadline is the regular decision deadline. But in reality, counselors and teachers are allowed to submit their evaluations after the deadline as long as it is not too long after the deadline. This pretty much goes for any college - setting a rigid end all be all deadline would be impractical and cruel. Generally, though, the student doesn’t courier or fax the forms - that job is for the counselor.

Harvard, in its brochure, says that ALL application materials should be reached by 1st January. Now does that include School forms? Some other colleges say that the school forms should be postmarked before the deadline. :\ So what do i do?? And my counselor is giving me the sealed envelopes to mail/courier to the admission office, so i have decide between the two option, courier and mail.

So can the forms be couriered? If yes, how to “postmark” them before deadline? And does regular mail include courier?

Don’t worry about it - it’s OK if the school forms are a little late. Just send it as soon as you can. There is no need to postmark them before the deadline - just courier it using express overnight service and it will be fine.

Ok. Im sending my forms from another country, and not USA. So im unsure as to whether my forms will be accepted or not?
