Hi, I'm an applicant for Stanford Restricted Early Acation.

Up to now, I have almost finished my Common Application except the school forms from my school counselor. He told me that he would submit the material by Nov. 15th, but apparently it's later than the deadline for students' submission. And he explained to me that normally the deadline for counselors is later than students'. Does that also apply to Stanford University? And will it disadvantage me if the school report is submitted after Nov. 1st?

Thanks a lot guys! :-)

You can get some things in late–school forms, guidance counselor recs, SAT scores, etc. You’ll be fine as long as the school gets your application and knows the rest is coming promptly. Remember that ** people ** are receiving this stuff, so they understand that people (guidance counselors) can be late ;)

Thanks for your input! I got that! :)

I actually contacted Stanford for the same question. The admissions office basically said that there is no concrete deadline for anything out of your control (counselor recs, transcripts, SAT scores, etc.) but what is in your control needs to be submitted by the deadline. So basically the common app and your supplement needs to be submitted by November 1st.
