Is there a deadline for supplemental docs?
I plan to fax in an extra recommendation (not by the teachers who did Evaluation A and B)

You should fax it in as early as possible, but supplemental material will generally be accepted until mid-February.

I faxed in a supplemental recommendation (2 pages counting the supplemental cover) - about the only thing that worked by fax, really, but it doesn’t show on myMIT tracking. Should it? How would I know that they assigned it correctly to my folder?

Supplemental material isn’t tracked in MyMIT. You just have to trust that it was correctly assigned to your folder.

Believe it or not, once upon a time there was no application tracking in MyMIT, and you just had to trust that your entire application was in Cambridge in the correct folder. :)

Well based on MITChris’s explanation of how their system converts faxes to PDFs and assigns them directly to the folder based on the supplemental cover, I’m not too worried. Sounds like a smart system. Just thought I’d ask
Thanks!
Aww but before, you’d have to send in the application written on paper, meaning you could send it all in in one envelope so there’s no worries to things not being matched to each other. Only worry was that it would get there properly. I’m actually not sure that I prefer the whole online system, to be quite honest.

thanx eveyone.
