<p>When is the last postmarked deadline for a supplemental rec. for Columbia U, as their deadline is Jan. 1? Will they still look at it if it is mailed a week after the deadline? This is very important, and may decide my admission.</p>
<p>You are only responsible for getting your own application in on time. Recommendations, test scores, and high school stats are controlled by others so if they are mailed after the deadline, you won’t be penalized. Of course, if they arrive really late-after you’re application has been reviewed and rejected, it won’t help.</p>
