deadline for UC applications for 2011

<p>I was looking at the UC website and thinking about college applications. For some of the schools I'm applying to, the applications aren't even available yet.</p>

<p>When I checked the UC website, under the "check open/closed majors" section in the Undergraduate Admissions, it says the filing period was July 1-31, 2010 for Winter Quarter 2011. But on the UC Davis website, it says the filing period is November 1-30, 2010 for Winter Quarter 2011.</p>

<p>The November 1-30, 2010 seems right to me (probably wishful thinking on my part - July 31st would mean I'm too late to apply to any UC schools).</p>

<p>Can someone clear this up for me, please?</p>

<p>The July 1 - 31, 2010 filing period was for the Winter Quarter 2011, which begins in January 2011. In other words - mid-year entry.</p>

<p>The November 1 - 30, 2010 filing period is for Fall 2011 entry (August or Sepetember, depending on campus).</p>
