<p>When it says a Jan 1 deadline does that mean the application is due at Jan. 1st before midnight or Dec. 31st before midnight?

<p>It's due midnight of January 1st. So 11:59 PM on January 1st is the absolute last time to submit.</p>

<p>Now, all you need to know is what time zone they want that by.
But I don't suggest waiting that long for reasons like computers crashing and the like.</p>
<p>Be carefull with those times. One of D's online apps specifies that the deadline is 01/01/08 11:45 pm EST.</p>
