I just submitted my app online, and I found out that I need to mail UPenn the signature page. Since post office will be closed tomorrow (right?), I cannot possibly get it postmarked by Jan 1st... Am I doomed? I don't know if UPenn will be flexible to allow a day or two late.

what signature page?

You should be okay, but honestly, there's not much you can do at this point, so what do you have to lose? Penn's admission office doesn't open until Jan 2, and they'll be dealing with a flood of envelopes and packages. A few days late shouldn't be a big deal, as long as the rest of your application is on time.

ilikesheep, at least for Penn's online app, they want you to print off a signature page and physically sign it and mail it in, to authenticate the "signature" you give on the online app. I don't know how the Common App works though, and whether its a requirement for the Common App.

Thanks CDN_dancer. yea.. not much I can do about it.

Whatttt?!!!!!!!!!!! Where The Hell Does It Say I Have To Mail The Signature Page??? Can Someone Please Tell Me If I Need To Do This With The Common App?!!!!!! They Should Put That In The Instructions Somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The common app doesn't say anything about it. I don't thing you need to.

WAIT WHAT!!!? what is this signature page?? hopefully its something that doesn't apply for the common app??? RIGHT??

sorry, sleep-deprivation/over-worked/paranoia getting to me

^ word. can anyone tell us for sure?!!!

i didn't mail a signature page last year when i applied online
i think your signature is just online when you type your name on some place on the app where it says "online signature" or something.
don't worry about it.

ok (: thankyou bumblebee

@bumblebee07...Actually there is a signature page when you use Penn's application, you have to print out a page sign it to agree that everything you said in your app is truthful and mail it out....From the looks of it, it only looks like Penn app has one and the commonapp doesn't...I doubt they care either way, I mean on both online apps it already asks for your online signature.
