Right now I'm enrolled in some extra classes I don't need so that I can hit the 13 unit minimum. I will definitely be enrolled in some other units in the near future so that I can drop those later. My question is, when is the deadline in which I must be enrolled in at least 13 units to be considered a full time student? Can I be enrolled in only 11 or 12 until that date? Thanks.

isn’t it 2 weeks into the semester when you can drop/add without fees? or is it five weeks?

I dunno. That’s what I was wondering.

Office of the Registrar’s website says that you need to be enrolled in the minimum units approved by your college by the end of the 3rd week of instruction. Link is below

Awesome, thanks!

Thanks for the tip LH! I will consider it.

Yeah, she told me the same thing when I went to see her earlier this week :P

what exactly happens when you are under the unit minimum and aren’t on an approval for a reduced course load? 12 units is the minimum for financial aid right?
