<p>Is the RD deadline BEFORE January 1st, meaning "submit" must be hit before the ball drops on Thursday night. Or a day later? </p>
<p>I'm sorry if this is rather obvious / annoying, but I'm I getting anxious and I feel like I can still tweak my essays here and there up until the deadline.</p>

So I assume its ON Jan 1. Not before.</p>

Can I send my transcripts and so on on the day of the deadline or do I have to send them before it? Do they mean by postmarked when the letter is in america or when I just bring it to the post office?</p>

<p>postmarked means that you have your post office mark your package as having been send before jan. 1. it doesnt matter if nyu gets it after that date as long as you send it before that date and it had stamped.</p>
