Hey guys.. I just have a really important question :(
I submitted my supplement + credit card payment before the deadline but...
I didn't know that the commonapp section was a separate part (my parents went to college outside of USA so the CEEB code didn't let me.. it took me a while to figure it out :() so I submitted it just now...

Will they still take the app? Or will it roll over to the RD pool?

I know this is definitely not the answer you want, but you really should call Penn’s admissions office. I know when I check the Common App now, my application was downloaded today. You can look to see what yours says, and that might be an indication as well.

But to be sure, you SHOULD call Penn’s admissions office and explain your situation. I’m sure they will be understanding.

CommonApp posts it next to the College name on your college list. For example, when I turned in my app to my Early Decision college, on CommonApp, next the college’s name, it said ‘Submitted’. Then it said ‘Downloaded by college’ next to the college when I checked the next day.

It is likely that they may just relegate your application to RD, which is NOT good and may not fare well (acceptance rate being significantly lower).

You need to call them as soon as they open tomorrow. Good luck my friend. :)

Yes; College admissions officers are surprisingly understanding of certain situations, but they can’t aid you unless you tell them, so do your best, even if you are pooled into the RD pool, to show your commitment to Penn. Good luck! Call asap
