Does anyone know if any of the UC universities have extended the deadline?

It is my understanding the Univ. of Southern California, a private university, has not extended their deadline. In a recent article in the campus newspaper the Vice Provost is quoted as saying applications were up from the record breaking number of 35,900 last year for the freshman class.

USC has the reputation of having a generous financial aid program.

And that is exactly what I said happened to my daughter. She got a postcard from Swarthmore. Is it only for minorities like roblan says, possibly, but when you get the postcard you don't exactly question their motives or wonder if they apply to everybody. And Connecticut College never sent anything, or posted anything on their websites and yet accepted the application and the late supplement.

I’ve had the same thing happen but can’t figure out if they just want my money (although some have given me a waiver) or if they really want me to go there?

Fordham, wake forest both extended 1/20

Again I don’t know if this is for everyone or a select group? I’m pretty confused.
