I'm applying to multiple colleges through common app, and they have different deadlines. Can I submit applications separately?

Yes, in fact you have to submit to each school separately. That’s the only way the common app works. You submit the same basic “common” application, plus each school’s supplemental requirements to each school one by one.

You should also find out the deadline for scores and transcripts. For some schools, you may need to send them at least 2 weeks before deadline.

Thank you so much! I will look for the deadlines!

I forgot to mention this is due to the time for delivery and some schools require to receive them by deadline.

Oh, wow! I didn’t know that! I’m already way ahead of the game for my school, but not that far!

My D’s school requires submission of application by 10/11 for 11/1 deadline to make sure they will have time to submit their part for the application. By that date, students need to submit a routing slip to the general office after submitting each application with scores and transcript requested. Regular score delivery may take 1-2 weeks. Some schools may have a later deadline for supporting materials though, but many have the same deadline. Some would not even accept rush score. So you better be early.

Oh, this is so helpful. Thank you for the hints.
