Dealing with Rejection

if NYU Stern had that kind of financial aid I think I would easily turn down Brown Columbia etc.. but Brown started its financial aid program for foreigners after the 100 million donation.. Columbia's ranked 6th in the cheapest top univs.. if I could get scholarships from companies that would be great but I already lost my chance once on the Samsung scholarships (given to 100 Koreans-highschoolers, college students and grads-every year).. hmm ..

yeh nyus financial aid is horrrible..

thats why i really want to go to HYP with just standard scores standard extras and maybe a little over standard essays hh dont stand much of a chance tho. might as well attend columbia brown etc.

hm... but columbia's not need-blind when it comes to admitting international students. just something to keep in mind... it could possibly come up.

and columbia is just as hard..they're really picky..

yeah, they totally are. their decisions seem almost capricious sometimes. nothing's really guaranteed for them.

back to bracing ourselves for rejection. i won't get my hopes up unrealistically for harvard. but a decent liberal arts college wouldn't be out of the question, and i'd be happy with that.
