Now hate is a strong word, but I truly hate this person. I play ice hockey and this kid is on my team. I've had to deal with him in previous years, and will have to deal with him again. Another year of hockey, another year of him, 6days a week. He's alyways trying to be a smart azz, though his sub 2.0 GPA is something I laugh at, but anyways he's always giving me crap. Always wanting to fight, always wanting to start stuff. The coach is a complete idiot also and isn't willing to do anything. So do I take a risk and fight the kid?

I can't really find a way around it. This kid is really making me think, if I want to even play hockey my senior year.

I normally do not condone fighting, but you are a hockey player. When I played football and someone was messing with me to the point where I couldn't take it anymore, I would provoke them in a football fight. Something like during tackling drills I would just try and take him out or something like that until the coach broke it up. Do something like that if you are to a boiling point and you know the coach will not help you. Don't quit that would be stupid if you really like hockey to throw it away because of one dumbass.

is he really that bad? the type of person i am, i would just ignore him. if i don't like someone, then i don't care about them, therefore i can't hate them. just be more mature then him and tell him to his face, in a very non chalant manner that he's being a prick. if he keeps harassing you just ignore him or laugh at him or make some smart a ss comment back. don't fight him though. you CAN take him out during practice if you want though.

beat him down during practices like the others said! GRRRRRR! big bad hockey power, man! Plow him, squeeze him til it hurts! Show him what it's like to be a man!!!

haha. i'm not trying to be a pacifist, i've just never had the urge to beat anyone down, regardless of the fact that i'm 5'9'', play sports, and am stronger than most girls. but forget me, if you're a hockey player, can't you just smash him into the wall during practice a bunch of times "on accident"? just make sure he doesn't embarrass you back.

I would "accidentally" smash him during practice. If he's the goal keeper during practice hit him really hard while shooting at him. Or just "pass" to him really hard.
