When do you approximately find out if you made the deans list or not? Also, whats the APPROX GPA for each grade level in the engineering AND letter and science colleges to make the list.
I think the one time I made it, I found out a few days before the next quarter started.
As far as the GPA cutoff, for L&S at least it’s very high. The only quarter I got it was when I got a 4.0. The highest I’ve gotten since was a 3.75 and that wasn’t high enough to meet the cutoff. So if I had to guess, you’d probably need at least a 3.8.
Edit: I should add, the 4.0 was my first quarter while the 3.75 was in my junior year. But I’m not sure if your year matters so much, because they go by that specific quarter compared to other people in your same level, and frankly anyone can have a really good individual quarter depending on their scheduling.
@PhantomVirgo yeah it must have been extra tough for you cause you’re a comp sci major in the Letters and Science college competing with people in easier majors.

If you check your College website, it should have the Dean list recipients listed. My older son is listed for Fall 2015 in his college: College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
@Gumbymom the engineering one hasn’t been posted yet. I guess because I didn’t get an email… I didn’t make it to the deans list?

i only see the spring 2015 list.

@iamjack: Sorry, busy making tamales for New Years Eve. My son showed me the Dean’s list and it had the heading: Fall 2015 and I thought it was on the College of Agriculture website. I might have been mistaken. I saw the link you posted and yes it does just list Spring 2015 so not sure what he was looking at yesterday.
@Gumbymom, we’re supposed to make our tamales tomorrow.
