<p>To make the Dean's List, do you have to have a semester average 3.5 or better or an overall average or 3.5 or better.</p>

<p>For instance, pretend someone has an overall average of 2.5, but has a semester average of 3.5 Would they get on the Dean's List?</p>

<p>It depends on the school where they determine the cut-off for Dean's List. I think nearly every school determines Dean's List upon the semester and not the cum. GPA.</p>
