Hi, this is probably a dumb question, but how exactly do I get the dean's report? My dean--as i'm sure most deans are--is a very busy man. His schedule is packed. So how am I supposed to get a report from him?
Also, for my dean's report, there's a section for comments and recommendation ranking. Again, faculty/upperclassmen said that our dean is very busy and that we freshmen are lucky to even see him talk to us during assemblies. So is this going to negatively impact me? :(

If your dean is too busy (or if you don’t feel comfortable asking him), you can always go to an advisor (or any other college official). You just need to go to someone who has access to your academic record - i.e, someone who can access your transcript and knows whether you’re on any sort of academic probation, etc… That’s the only info the college(s) are interested in.

Also, the ratings section/comments section of the College Report is not all that important - it doesn’t even need to be filled out - since, again, the college(s) just want know whether or not you’re in good academic standing.

Edit: You’re talking about the College Report from the Common Application, right? If not, disregard my post.

No it’s not the common app This school has it’s own app. But it would still kinda be the same right? The part about going to my advisor.

Maybe. I really have no idea, though. Sorry.

Try looking on the school’s website. Or search around the internet. Should be able to find something. If not, maybe contact the school and ask them.
