DeAnza to UC (i need peace of mind pleaseeee)

so i started the cc my senior year of high school originally as a biochem major.
well that changed 6 months ago when i switched to econ and have been taking those classes ever since.
gpa is 3.36
this quarter:
macro econ honors (projected A)
accounting 1a (projected A)
stats (projected C =[)

I'll have completed IGETC at the end of this quarter

i'm also retaking calc 1a in the summer at another community college to fix a C (to an A hopefully) i recieved at DeAnza as well as an online Accounting 1b course (projected A).

fall quarter '08:
micro econ honors
accounting 1c
math 1b

applying to: ucd, ucsd, ucsb, ucla, ucm for winter transfer (application period this july)

any questions/tips welcome

thanks guys!!

i reread your post. I'm an idiot. I say your a match for UCM probably throw in UCR for a saftey. Davis and SB are slight reaches. SD and LA are gonna require some work and an excellent personal statement to get you through the door.

if you are applying to fall quarter of 09, ucsd and ucd sound like good possibility, as for winter quarter i have no idea.

UCLA only accepts Engineering winter transfer.

does anyone know of any actual humans that attend school at Merced?

i know several high school friends at merced but haven't talked to them in awhile.

thanks, i'll check off ucm and ucr on the app list.

my #1 is davis so i'm really hoping i can pull through

you are not allowed to make up classes in which you received a C. I also believe you cannot retake a class at a different school either.

really, davis a reach? cant you just do TAA/TAG for Davis? the minimum gpa is only 2.9 for letters & science. i don't know anyone who had higher than the minimum gpa that got rejected from TAA approval for Davis

i could have done tag for davis but i switched my major after the deadline (november 07 for fall 08 transfer) so i got kinda screwed. i have to apply as a regular transfer
