I'm scared.

Now that I have started packing up some of my things, it's beginning to finally set in that I'm moving.....and it's FREAKING ME OUT! =(

HELP!

p.s. Also, is anyone else leaving a long-term boyfriend/girlfriend to head off to Cal?

I'm freaking out because I still haven't secured all my loans :D Anxiety is good--keeps you on your toes. And you seem friendly so I'm sure all will be good in no time. Ponder how much better your life can potentially be by graduating from Cal rather than staying in OC.

About the relationship issue-- temptation is a mofo...he's way down there and you're up here. What will you do when all the guys are clawing at you during the Friday night parties or you bump into some amazing guy in the library? It takes unbelievable discipline to maintain a long-d relationship. When my girlfriend of 3 years moved to Korea, our relationship was over about 5 months later--on good terms of course.

all the best...

Do alcohol edu; it'll bore you out of your problems.

scared of what? your moving to an area thats 1000000x better than whereever you are now

ur going to love it....so chill

takell: hey dont leave ur long-term boyfriend/girlfriend, cause i think you wont find gf/bf that will satisfy ur eyes easily at berkeley.

So I heard..

Berkeley has like thirty thousand undergrads and grads combined. If Tallkell decides to not go through with the long distance relationship, I'm sure she can find someone that suits her interests.

Sigh, these Berkeley generalizations and stereotypes are getting old :(

hey everyone,

thanks for your advice. i plan on trying to make my long distance relationship work (i.e.--fly to see him every other month and him fly to see me every other month) but even with that, i still think it will be very hard. anyway, i suppose only time will tell, but gosh..i'm going to miss him. =(

hopefully, welcome week will help me get my mind off it. =)
