MIT seemed to have spelled "Questbridge" wrong and spelled it "Questbride" in one of the titles of their Email. This sent it straight to spam for my Gmail and I ask you all to CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER. It was sent about 5-6 hours ago. I felt the CC Community would want to know about this seeing as this could lead to some problems. Double and then triple check your spam folders before emptying them.

You’re right! An email in gmail’s spam folder. Thanks!

No problem! The last thing we want is people missing papers simply because of a fluke.

Aren’t you helping out your competition here, razor? Or are you using these posts as an indication of your “collaborative spirit”?

;-)

Just doing what I would want other people to do in my situation. =)

Overall though I would like to shift the ideal of competition for college admissions away from competing with others to competing with yourself. But that’s another story for another time. =)

Well, I got an email with the correct spelling. It should be the same information right?

Probably, the content of the message I got was a definitive list of things I needed turned in by Nov 1st and where to fax/mail things.

I have to say, I am relieved that MIT accepted the Questbridge application. I actually would have a harder time filling out the MIT application b/c many of my activities qualify under two essay categories.

Yeah, it’s really awesome knowing that completing one application would cover recommendations AND essays AND short answers AND qualify as a hassle-free fee waiver for MIT and other schools.

It also helps that MIT is my dream school and my application is 100% done. Man I’m so excited for December 1st =).

Damn, i emptied out my spam folder without thinking earlier today.
Does anyone want to forward me the email?

Ya, I can forward the email. Simply PM me your Email.
