Dear Graduated Me,

As my Senior year looms on the horizon, I must ponder on some serious problems that I currently face. As my future self, however, you of course know all of these answers.

For starters, did I at least get into one college? Just one of the twenty I'll probably end up applying to? I mean, I know my ACT of 34 was quite low, and my involvement in every possible club was below standard. There was no place to list in the Common App "Co-created Cure for cancer," so I guess there goes my Harvard acceptance letter.

Oh, even community college rejected me? Good going. Guess all those AP courses were for nothing.

Secondly, do I find a date for Prom? I mean, I've been embracing this whole stag thing for the past couple of dances but frankly, it's getting old.

Finally, do I go on a kick ass Senior trip next Summer? Possibly Europe or Australia? Shopping in Venice or skiing in the Alps?

Wait, you say I go to summer school? Guess all the college stress got me in the end.

So, all-knowing, bestow upon me my future knowledge. Tell me everything works out in the end. Tell me I get accepted into my dream school. That I find a hairstyle that works with my graduation cap, and that ***** who's more popular than me and who won Senior class president ends up failing the upcoming academic year.

Yours (literally),
Stressed Senior

PS Do I find a college that allows my cats to live with me in my dorm?
