Dear parents or anyone knowledgeable

Hi,

My parents and I are US citizens and file US taxes but live abroad. Due to this, all W-2's etc. have taken time to come. I havent been able to send copies of the 2005 Tax returns as they have not been filed yet. Will this hurt my aid chances?

My parents got the info to file it only yesterday... what can I do?
(The FAFSA and CSS have been filed and 2004 Tax returns sent where required)

I am panicky as I need to get aid as a do or die situation. Also, I need to compare aid packages early. What can I do??????

Thanks in advance,
Antarius

Relax, it is very unlikely that any delay will cause problems. Contact any schools asking for final 2005 tax filing information. Many of us cannot file until near April 15.

Thanks. Rice asks for 2005 Tax returns and W2's by March 1st thats why.
They havent been filed yet. I have hence only sent the FAFSA and CSS

Contact Rice and discuss this with them. You may be able to send them estimated forms, or something. Call and explain your situtation clearly to someone who has the ability to help you. (You may have to get past the work/study student answering the phone first! :) )

will do. I emailed them 2 days ago and will send the 2005 Tax returns today... hope Ill be safe :|
