Dear Sternies

Are you a wharton reject?

because I am.

it sucks.

dude, that's the wrong way to think about it

but yes, I am too, lol.

I'm not...I'm a Stanford reject.

i'm both!
waitlisted at stanford though...so so close

Im a Cornell AEM reject and a UPenn Chemical Engineering reject.

wharton reject too..

wharton reject...but I hate that school now because they are so random...I was valedictorian (1 out of 519) in my high school, 4.0gpa, 770 on both satIIs (math II and physics), 2320 sat, tons of activities and I spent at least 20 hours total working on my application. I also had a recommendation from the financial director of the city of philadelphia who is on the board of trustees. He was pretty ****ed off about the decision too though. Thats why I love hearing that athletes get in with 2050 sats and top 10% class rank with absolutely no other activities.

my first choice was uchicago, but i got waitlisted. However, I pulled my name off the waitling list. I want to go to Stern for sure now.

i didn't allow Wharton to reject me, I applied early to Stern

littlebusrider8-- i'm glad you're going to NYU though. It's Penn's loss. Hopefully in the years ahead (probably a big stretch, whatever, I'm not in bussiness, so I dont know) Stern will be the new Wharton.

It's very possible considering Stern's in the Business and Financial Capital of the world as opposed to Wharton that's in Philadelphia. Not that there's anything wrong with Philly. :)

Honestly before I visited NYU (yes i'd never been to New York before) I expected it to be a bigger slightly dirty version of philly, but the area are NYU is actually much cleaner than philly and way nicer than I expected, which is a huge surprise. It even seems less congested than the area around Penn.

wharton ed, defer, reject. i loved that school so muchh... well, we have to stick with stern now.

Well we can make it so that stern > wharton in next 20 or so years.

hahah im a defer -> reject too
its the absolute worst with the exception of defer -> waitlist -> sorry

I kinda knew at the deferral that i was screwed, its like 30 percent chance in ed but like a little over 10 probably for rd, so if you cant get in the first round the chances in the second arent that great.
