<p>really!? i checked this afternoon after i heard someone saying they got in during class, and i was accepted. i swear!</p>

<p>Also, I had a weird application situation if anyone would care to address it. I applied to UCD last year and got in, but I couldn’t send in my transcripts on time, so they rescinded my admission. I have a 3.8 GPA (straight A’s and one C in statistics) and I’m an English major. I applied again for Fall of this year, but I didn’t take any classes in last Fall semester (because I didn’t need them) and am only taking two classes this semester (so it doesn’t just look like I’m doing nothing). I thought my application essay was pretty good and explained the situation clearly, but does anyone know if this kind of education gap would count against me? Thanks!</p>
<p>it doesnt seem as if davis counts education gaps of any kind against anyone. im sure they understand certain situations come up & people dont always follow a conventional education path. best of luck to you & i hope that put your mind to ease!</p>

<p>I just spoke to admissions and was told that people without a TAG will not be hearing for another 2 weeks or so.</p>

<p>JUST GOT IN. I checked my email and had email notification at noon I didn’t have TAG, but my 2 friends who did have it both got their acceptances today as well!! goodluck everyone!</p>
<p>Yea, Im hearing that people without a TAG are getting in. This is worrying me. The admissions officer did say that non TAGers will be notified later.</p>
