<p>Agreed, or Harvard. The best national debaters have come out of NDF and will probably start to come out of Harvard soon (it’s new-ish).</p>
<p>LD and PF are NOT very similar, and going to camp for LD won’t help you in PF.
I would also recommend NDF in FL for PF. A lot of the top teams on the circuit have gone there… again, pf is super lay so camp isn’t as necessary for it, but it’ll probably be a good experience anyway and it’ll get you ready for debating during the year.</p>
<p>Well LD, Policy, and Public Forum debate is all different. It’s not necessarily that they require different skills, but really that they all have different formats and were created as three SEPARATE forms of debate for a reason. Though having a background in any of them may help if you are moving to public forum, if you plan on doing public forum, go to a camp that focuses on public forum.</p>
