<p>How helpful is this for Princeton admission? Or does it matter if I'm not first?</p>

<p>Is Princeton more debate orientated than Yale?</p>

<p>Winning national/major awards and competitions definitely helps in college admissions. Princeton and Yale both have strong debate programs.</p>
