<p>Gosh, I thought that God would be a bit more creative w/the punishment. Using your hands to fight seems so mortal. I was kind of expecting something more along the lines of a great plague of a bolt of lightning. Oh well, you know everything ;).</p>

<p>Well, it is pouring rain where I live (NYC), but not quite a tsunami. The meterologists all predicted this storm anyway. Maybe the meterologists are gods then. Besides, drowning the Earth is nothing new. Ever hear of Noah's Ark? God, you're running out of ideas. If you're going to do away w/me, at least be creative.</p>

<p>When i proposed this topic, the following few posts were exceedingly one-sided in their stand. they all seemed to think that Cafe was a pointless place.

<p>And then there were those condemning me for the supposedly obvious topic.

<p>I still hold my stand however, CC Cafe is good, and i aint gonna deviate.
CC Cafe is a wonderful place to dwell, and I say that posting on it for a long time, and reaping the benefits of this misconstrued locale. </p>
<p>CC Cafe is a place to discuss and meet with people. It's a place where high-schoolers and students from all remote corners of this gigantic but convoluted world. In midst of all the depression and apprehensions of the college admission process, it is here that prospective students find a place to relax and chill out. It is in CC Cafe that they can interact with people, know the minds of college appicants in similar positions. </p>
<p>Most importantly, it is a spot where lasting friendships are made. Depressed kids find consolation here, happy kids are congratulated here, befuddled kids find answers here.
The bonds of friendships made here, last longer than C-C bonds in a diamond. Here, they find a new world waiting for them, free from discrimination of any kind, full of love, laughter and delight. "There is no gift greater than the gift of love", said a scholar whose name i do not recall, and CC is based on that very thought. I myself have been proposed for marriage twice on Cafe, only to decline due to prior engagements. </p>
<p>All those pitiful cohorts of this thread who are against the Cafe, you all know that deep down in your hearts, you do have a special place reserved for this ever so misinterpreted forum of CC.</p>
