My high school doesnt rank, but it is a pretty highly regarded public high school. My counselor did tell me I was in the top 3 percent. However, this is not going to be released to colleges. :(

What they’ll release to colleges is a “profile” of your highschool, with a grade distribution of your graduating class, and UT will compute your rank (I only know this because my oldest went to a highschool that didn’t rank, and we were told this by the UT admissions people we met with), so UT will be able to figure out you are at the top of your class! That will help with McCombs. Your test scores are good too. Write some good essays and I think you definitely have a shot.

Thanks a lot. I just thought UT really discounted OOS candidates, which is a shame. I heard they had like a 25% cap for oos and thought it might already be filled since its rolling admissions. Any more opinions?
