Debating in NSD

Hey guys,

I'm planning to apply to NSD (National Symposium of Debate) this year, and i'm wondering if any of you:

1) have applied and/or have been accepted (in which case, congrats :D )
2) know anyone who has gone, and what they've said about it
3) simply know info about it

I'm considering doing either that or Stanford's EPGY writing. Any advice?

Also, as an international student, does that immediately disqualify me for the NSD?

bumpp :D i want to know about this NSD

It's a relatively new program, though the debaters who I've talked to have generally loved the program.

If you're an international student I wouldn't advise NSD.

NSD is aimed at a VERY specific form of debate called Lincoln-Douglas debate. I am not sure if that's what you type of debate you do.

Also the camp has more emphasis on technical skills in terms of LD Debate then anything else.
