Hi. I’m a sophomore I’m high school, and when I was planning my classes for the upcoming year, I chose to take Algebra II Regents. I thought it was the right choice, but I’m also debating whether taking the Honors class is worthwhile. I don’t consider myself a “math person,” but I think algebra is easy and straightforward. My main reasons for taking the class are that I would get the honors weight for the class, I would be guaranteed a good teacher, and that extra math practice will help in preparation for the SAT. Is Honors the right choice for me? Thanks!
