Debt did you have after eventually transferring to a 4 year university?

I know CC is cheaper for the general education requirements, but did you save any money on the last 2 years of college? Did the debt from attending the 4 year make attending CC in the first place irrelevant?

Don’t go to CC and pay university tuition X 4.
Go to a CC and only pay university tuition X 2.
