I’m looking around on the Internet for the debt loads of various colleges. Is this something that’s published and available? Can’t seem to locate anything.

Sorry if my post was not clear. What I’m trying to find is the amount of debt a college is carrying.
Forbes I believe publishes lists of colleges and a rating of their financial security.
Moody’s reports will give you a picture of an institution’s credit rating (and debt load). Google the name of the college with Moody’s and the reports will pop up.
These “average debt load” lists are really not all that helpful. After all…they are “averages”.
What matters is if the debt load YOU plan to take is manageable…and whether the college is affordable without excessive debt.
