Hi I recently sent out an application for John Carroll university on the 28th of November. The early action deadline is Dec 1. My counselor still has not sent out the transcript though and I am afraid that I will no longer be considered for early action since it will arrive after the date. Is this the case?

If it is sent Monday, there is still a reasonable chance you’ll be considered. Try to get your counselor to sent it as soon as possible and also contact the school to let them know it’s on its way and ask how the delay will affect your app status.

I forgot to mention that our school sends it online via naviance.

Remember that John Carroll would rather have you apply than not.

Email the admissions office today to tell them that you’re an early applicant, you’re afraid your transcript hasn’t been sent, and you will address this issue at school on Monday. Then be sure you do see your guidance counselor about this tomorrow. If the transcript won’t be sent on Monday, follow up with another email to John Carroll to let them know when they can expect to have it.

Good luck.
