<p>I hope I get into gilchrist or the new one, I need a place to study but a place that's somewhat social.</p>
<p>I hope you get one of the newer dorms but just in case...
Don't fret too much if you end up in one of the older hall style dorms. The fact that you share a hall bath encourages socialization and the cost is a lot less. You don't have to buy a meal plan and you don't have to clean the bathroom yourself. As long as you get along with your roommate, the situation can work out just fine.</p>

<p>question : u said landis is honors right and so is Glicrhist? well i choose two honors dorms and one major specific and the other i think was broward. is it possible to get an honors dorm even if you dont go into Honors?</p>
<p>Gilchrist is not an honors dorm anymore. Also, my son told me that he did know of a student who was placed in Landis that was not in honors, so I guess it is possible if space is available.</p>
