Dec 15 - Still Waiting for EA Decision

Anyone else still waiting for their EA decision at the end of the day on the 15th?

For those of you that did receive yours - was it posted to your online status before or after you received snail mail?

Found out online about a week before receiving the letter in the mail.

Neither of my twin sons has heard yet. It doesn’t seem to be bothering them, but it’s killing me.

still nothing!!!
I was kind of worried too. I’m glad to know it’s not just me.

When did they send in their applications? I would be dying! Good luck!

I am an international student and still didn’t get a reply by email at this point…should I contact the admissions officer?

It never hurts to contact your admissions counselor, as long as you don’t overdo it. By that I mean if you are contacting them every day or 3 times a week, that would be ridiculous. But to contact them to make sure they have everything and where it stands? Nothing wrong with that.

we are still waiting for EA decision as well. Nobody answering the application information line so they are probably overwhelmed with applications and calls. Also glad to know we’re not the only ones.

Same here. I did note that there is now a “financial aid” tab on Gibson next to the “my application” tab. I can click on the fin aid tab, but get an error message. Maybe this tab has always been there - but I hadn’t noticed it before. I’m hoping its new, as that might be evidence of some progress.

One week between my notification on Gibson and the admissions letter w/scholarship info.

My daughter applied EA on Nov. 15th and heard via email last week, say Dec. 9th? She was deferred…

i still haven’t heard anything and i applied the last week of october

I called and they said that S did not check the EA box on his form so he applied for Regular Decision. They said there was a way to check the EA, but then if you didn’t do something else, it ended up unchecked. I don’t know, I am quite sure that he did check EA. But whatever - at least we won’t sit around waiting for it now.

He submitted his mid October, so it was plenty of time for EA. But I guess if the box isn’t checked, then the box isn’t checked and they’ll get to you when they get to you. Oh well.
