Oh yeah, as ylhs said it... The other section's main passage was about someone's love for natural wildlife and their decision to run a Fishing Camp because of the rewards they receive from doing the labor.

Yes, section 9 was quite annoying.
I'm sure we had a different version with the same math sections because I don't remember anything about Africans.

Thank GOD if you didn't remember anything about Africans, that was definitely the one I was most bugged about. I still answered what I thought was sound... But it was about how Westerners have been applying an archaic approach in African wildlife conservation and they need to change it because the Africans were getting ****ed for getting kicked off their land

For those who received 2 writing sections....

Section 2 was the 25 minute, 35 question Writing section. As I was taking the test, I thought it was odd, because this section is normally from 4-7. The questions were also very strange as well; not at all like the normal pronoun ambiguity, subject/verb-agreement, illogical comparion, etc questions that are typical on the SAT. Furthermore, one thing that must be understood about the experimental section is that most of its purpose is to discourage the kids, make them feel stupid so it messes up everything else; that's why ETS will always places it as close to the beginning as possible without being predictable. I also noted an unusual number of No Errors for me, which was odd because I normally only pick about 20% No Error, typical for the SAT. As I got a 750 on the writing section last time, I feel just about 100% positive that it was indeed section 2. However, we won't know for sure until collegeboard releases the details, which they normally do about a week after the test date.

It sounds like we had the same tests... However, I had a writing experimental, not a Critical Reading. I also had passages about African Wildlife Preservation, The one with the man whose family ignores him and one with a girl who gets married and moves to Alaska to become a fisherman with her husband, which her parents disaprove of.

I got the same test as you, and I also thought that the first, section 2, writing section was much more complex. Luckily, georgeyoung89 posted in the official Dec 2 thread that the section 2 was the equating section. I hope that's true. x].

It was indeed section 2 writing that was the experimental. Check the collegeboard site. Click the link that says "After the Test."

Ooh. So that's where it was. Thanks, I was looking for that link.

was that the one with drama club? so that was writing exp?
