Dec-2012- Biology (E/M)

The food chain started with seeds and ended with fleas, sorry dude I’m 100% positive
:frowning: That’s all right
I’m okay with 750

Can’t remember the sperm one, be more specific ?
well when the woman doesn’t get pregnant
because sperm can’t enter
and whatare the barriers
and pH is not abarrier because I remember semen having it’s own bicarbonate ions for regulating vaginal acidity

Explanation for significant decrease except : B. Resumption of hunting predators.
I have A ****

Illustrated by the study : D. The size of deer population is dependent on predators.
yea i have this

The sperm one was I and III, the first one “Fallopian Tube was blocked” and the the third because the acidity might kill the sperms.

So I have a mistake in Epidermis thing
Food chain
Resumption of hunting predators
about the balloon(?) not sure yet
maybe one mistake in molecular
about biomes

so that makes raw score 73
what will i get with that?
or even with 70?
over 700 yea?

The sperm one was I and III, the first one “Fallopian Tube was blocked” and the the third because the acidity might kill the sperms.

I just saw in Barrons and it says that semen has it’s own buffers which regulate the pH
I will REPORT this book

Greater than 70 is always a 700 dude chill
I have only 1 omitted but I’m not sure of 2 answers maybe 800 ?

@Bluecholeric I studied from both Barrons and Cracking and yes, the book contains a number of mistakes. You could’ve easily guessed it.

You’ll get it. I’m not even American, not even a native speaker, not even going to American school. I haven’t taken AP or IB or Honors because I don’t even know what those are… I just took this Barrons and Princeton Review books and both are completely full of ****

guys do you remember the ones with what does yeast consume for cellular respiration in that one experiment question. I changed my answer from sucrose to starch, but now I think it’s sucrose. Ahhh why did I second-guess myself.

I would be so happy to see that 800 Wishing
Were are you from ?
I took APs only, and of course normal biology in class.

what was the one with the kidney, and it was like the ADH hormone does what

@ confused95 : This was one of the questions I’m not sure of but i put starch as the answer

The other question i was not sure of is the biome were plants less photosynthesize, what did you guys put the answer as ?

@daboss786 ADH increases the concentration and volume of urine.

http://images.nationalgeographic.com/wpf/media-live/graphic/map-georgia-360x270-cb1316028242.gif

Georgia, Caucasus…

I wanna go to Smith so badly
I have 114 on TOEFL
1930 on SAT
and now aiming to score 700+ on Bio WH and M1

See what happens

ADH increases the concentration and volume of urine.

wait if increases the concentration thus decreases the volume
because it reabsorbs water in the last section of kidney
like after the proximal something tubes and loop of henle

@Bluecholeric ADH increases urine levels which in turn makes your urine thick (Hence the increase in volume)

Oh I still can’t quite understand
Increase in volume is increase in like size? liters?
Becomes concentrated so it’s more solid, more thick
but not greater in volume, vice versa

Okay i’ll just relax till the scores I will get700 anyway
i will i will :s Tata you will
chill
okay like 750 on wh
and idk math
i’lldo it

Increase in volume is equal to the increase in thickness.
The levels or water will decrease.

wait i remember reading in barrons that ADH affects the collecting ducts, so I put that as my answer. Anyone else do the same?

I’ll just sleep now and concentrate on essays or something
even If i have 7 or 8 mistakes that’ll be 700
and that’s okay
