Dec 2012 Chem SAT 2 Curves

anyone take the chem sat 2 today and wanna discuss the curves? i thought it was pretty hard. some questions were time consuming

I thought it was pretty hard as well for the same reason. I was consistently scoring 750-800 in the Barron’s tests in the weeks leading up to today with the like five minutes left each time. Today i rushed the last couple questions to make time. I’m hoping -8=800

Yeah I definitely ran out of time. I probably didn’t study enough since I’m taking AP Chem this year. But, overall I omitted 10 questions, and who knows how many I missed. Are the curves usually -8=800? Or is that a generous curve?

does anyone remember questions?

how many CE’s did u have?

6 i believe, there seemed to be pretty many

and i think the average curve is somewhere between 6-8 and an 800. not positive though

i think i might have had 6 or maybe 1 or 2 more than that b/c i remember having a lot

anyone remember that question that asked which formula was correct and each answer had a metal M? there were also a bunch of questions in part c that i didn’t get, especially towards the end

I had 6 CE

I don’t think the curve will be THAT generous (probably -5 or -6)
but I usually finish in 40 min but this test I had to rush to finish in 59.5 lol

crap don’t remember how many CEs I put :</p>

What was the answer to the sulfite question ?

I put the one with acetic acid
