i believe they were different. i think i had picked 3 first then changed to 3.125

for the one with the number with 3 of the same prime factors and one different prime factor, did it say that n and 1 were excluded as factors?

so shouldn’t the answer have been 8-2=6

@iii123 it actually stated that you shouldn’t exclude n and 1

Do you guys remember the probability question?

the difference is 3.125, so if there was an answer choice 3.125 I got that one wrong

@Imperviouss it said, what is the chance of at least one fire alarme functioning well if their probabilities of functioning well are 99.96 and 99.92
answer is 1-0.04x0.08

1-0.04x0.08??

for the probability one, it was 96 and 94 percent

what do you think the curve will be like?

i think i cant remember for sure. all i know is that my answer was pretty close to 1

@Franco221
probabilities were 92% and 96%. If they were 99.96% and 99.92%, the answer wouldn’t be 1-.04.08, but 1-.0004.0008.

yeah, i got that, which was a

@serendipity7
I got .997. You didn’t even have to do any calculations: the answer had to be greater than both 92% and 96%, and .997 was the only one that was.

What was the answer for the probability q? Was it 80something?

Ohh nvm darn alright

@serendipity7:
Are you sure it was 94% and 96% and not 92% and 96%?

@melzid eril

I’m pretty sure it was 94 and 96.

Is the curve usually 43 or above = 800?

no i’m not sure about that question, it could have been 92 as well

@melzideril @serendipity7 nah it was 92% and 96% according to my calculator history
