@hoomster
I got the one that was under 12 i think

I got 339 for the circle-plane question, II and III for the function question (pretty sure)
Got 8% for interquartile but not sure

Cone: 1/12 pi h^3 right?
I got 3 for cosine question: cos2x+cosx+1=2cos^2(x)-1+cosx+1 something like that

Alright, I think I got the same thing. Thanks!

Shouldn’t it be 34 for the card question

I also thought even meant every two years so I put that…Sigh

We’re there any other iffy ones

I think it should be 35 for the card question and every odd number year

What was the answer to these:
- Which of the functions will have three distinct real roots?
- What is the value of n in 1/n^2 + 1 so that its value equals 0.01?

it was either the second to last function or last function…u jst graphed all of them and saw which one crossed the x-axis 3 times

i forget that question…

3 roots question : (x^2 +4x-4)(x+2)

yea i think thats it

btw for the 3 graphs
was it is y a functino of x or is x a function of y
i put I and II…idk, some ppl put I, II, III, II, II and III

I put II and III because I has 2 values of y for x=0, can’t be a function

I put 34 too but there was an explanation in the previous pages so it’s 35 i guess
And wait is the answer forthe question where it asks forthe difference betweenmaximum and minimum of cos2x-cosx 3 or 3.125?

I couldn’t attempt 12 (Yeah, TWELVE :’( ) because I ran out of time. Aaand I must have got MAXIMUM two wrong. Can I still hope for 700 + ?

Oh and it was definitely 35 for the card question. Because there are 24 numbers BETWEEN 10 and 35.

Yes i think you can get maybe 700-720ish. Hopefully curve isn’t bad :(

The question with the m1 m2 m3 sets, answer was 0 right?

Oh god I really really hope it’s a lenient curve. I need at leaaaast 700! (Which is also kinda low if you see the number of people getting full on this test)

Yes, it was 0.

The min/max question with cos was definitely 3.125. I don’t remember the exact equation, but I graphed, found the min and max and found the difference and that’s what it was.

3.125: min/max

can someone please point out where in the question it said not to include 10 and n when counting
