<p>Just wondering- and didn’t take the test- how many wrong over the two writing sections can you afford if you are aiming for 750-780? with a 10 on the essay</p>

<p>I’m just disappointed in my reading, because I know I could have made 800 without dumb mistakes >.<
But I don’t think it’s worth a retake, so oh well…</p>
<p>To all those who prepared for the writing section and did well- what did you use to prepare? All the stuff on CC on the writing. Could you guys refer me to the links you used etc. </p>

<p>I must’ve completely missbubbled because I was getting 2100-2200 on blue book lol WTHHHHHH WHO GETS 300 POINTS LOWER THAN EXPECTED??</p>
<p>For those of you who got a 'NOT YET AVAILABLE" for your score…I myself got the same thing and called to find out what’s going on…Apparently, there was “a significant increase” in my CR score, and they told me it is standard procedure for them to investigate such drastic increases in scores…So, on the bright side, that may also mean the same for the rest of you - that your score went up several hundred points!</p>
<p>So, in a nutshell, several things are happening.</p>
<ol>
<li><p>Your score significantly improved. They are doing a standard check to make sure you didn’t cheat.</p></li>
<li><p>You really did cheat or are suspected of cheating and they are doing an investigation.</p></li>
<li><p>There was a technical error, such as bubbles not being filled in correctly, your answer sheet being misplaced, etc…</p></li>
</ol>
<p>Hope this helps for those of you who are anxious and curious as to why you didn’t get your score when everyone else did.</p>
<p>The best thing to do is to wait it out at least one week or so…and in the meantime, to check every several days for your score…They will most likely post your score within 1-2 weeks.</p>

EIGHT ON MY ESSAY. That makes no sense. First time I took it, my essay was weak, sloppy, bad examples, without a conclusion and I got an 8. This time, my essay made good points, was neat, was a complete essay, and used strong vocabulary…and I got an 8 again. So frustrating. It could have brought my score up. :(</p>
