I know the scale. It's pretty good. I was hoping the scale would be even more lenient than 63 raw score though...

I am also hoping for a more lenient scale. So many weird questions!

what about these:

weird shape and ask which field was strongest: i put the one at the narrowest tip cause i remember my teacher telling us all the electrons gather at the tip of a conductor

throwing rock on moon: i put 6 times higher.. or was it 36?

kite with tension/wind question: 2500

I put 2500 also!

Uhh... your teacher told you electrons gathered at the tip of a conductor? Weird. I'm pretty sure they distribute themselves uniformly on the surface of a conductor, so I put the part that was in a sort of crevace of the conductor since it's closer to more electrons.

For the kite or balloon or thing in the air (who cares), I put 500. I'm figuring the balloon is in static equilibrium, and the tension in the string was like 1200, right? Something else was 1300... So we had a right triangle with hypotenuse 1300 and leg 1200, and solving for the other leg gave 500.

I put 6 times higher as well.

Was there a question that couldn't be solved i.e. the answer was "can't be solved with the given information"?

I got the same answers as you for the kite, conductor, and moon. I don't think any question couldn't be solved. I don't remember very well though so I could be wrong.

i messed up big time...

for magnetic flux one, i put I II AND III -- my right hand was messed up ><

for moon, i put the person will weigh 6 times less on the moon - could sb explain y this is wrong?

guitar strings - i put tension and wavelength will change - i can't remember ><

galvanometer thing - i omitted it...

electric field thing, was it B charge won't move?

move charge 3 2 cm right so net force = o?

k, ppl, help ><

also, anyone know how many can i get wrong and still get 750 ish?

ohh crap can't believe i didn't square root

y is phys forum so quiet ..ppl, answer me questions!

"""""""For the kite or balloon or thing in the air (who cares), I put 500. I'm figuring the balloon is in static equilibrium, and the tension in the string was like 1200, right?
that is correct

guitar strings w/ more tension = higher frequency (higher pitch)

wavelength stays constant

the one about where electrons concentrate at is at the most pointy part. I remembered from my SAT book I think.

It's a horrible test. At the half way of the test, I was regretted for taking it.

Can someone tell me what the answer was for "Good insulator and conductor"?

Is it glass and aluminum?

i was regretting it in the beginning ><..

can someone answer my previous questions? post #27

I put glass and aluminum.
And 500 on the balloon question.
I can't remember the rest.

yesssssssssssssss... glass and aluminum! yeah!

...i know i know...but this could mean 10 pts!

electric field thing, was it B charge won't move - two plates thing w/ positive on top and neg on bottom. charge B was in the middle? it gave 5 statements and which was true...i put B = 0 one...

move charge 3 2 cm right so net force = o?

I don't remeber the B charge won't move one? I don't recall it...was it between 71 and 74? (didnt have time to read those at all).

Yea i was move charge 3 2cm to the right, a very easy question.

Def. glass and aluminum...

Def. 500 N (5, 12, 13 triangle).

Any more hard question?
