so for those of you who took the act in december AND feb....which one did u think was better/easier? I'm juts curious to know your thoughts.....

I found the February test much easier. Maybe it's because I know how to pace myself now though...on the December one, I ran out of time and had to guess on the last seven or so of Math and Science, and on this one I completely finished all the sections fairly easily.

February Test was easier hands down. The Math was a tad harder than PR and Kaplan tests, but the Science was MUCH more manageable than the December Test. The English and Reading were much easier also.

I thought february was harder in science, but easier in everything else.

^
I agree, but I thought the essay topic was better in Dec.

My son thought the science was equally hard to Dec., not because of the material, but bc he said that he had to constantly refer back to some written material. He said that drove him nuts. Don't know what he was talking about, but maybe you guys do.

He thought that the math was more heavy on the algebra than usual, so if algebra is your thing, or you taking taking algebra II now it was easier for you than for others. BTW, the way he saw it there was only one trig question. I thought they usually have 4 of them on each test, but he did not see 4 on this test.

He thought that the English was on the easier side, and the reading was easy to average.

English was about the same, but a bit easier on the Feb.
Math was about the same. Some harder question near the end of Feb.
Reading was much easier on the Feb test.
Science. Urg. I did very well in Dec, and I thought that the Feb. was way harder for me, especially the last passage.

Hopefully the Science won't screw up my composite too much. I guess I'll just have to wait a few weeks and see...

^^The four were on there. There was one ~question 20, and the very last question was a trig one (the law of sines/cosines one).

marlow, thanks.

My son though Feb was easier. In Dec he had to guess on last 7 science questions ~ this time he finished all sections. He didn't care for the essay prompt in Feb though.

My son liked Feb.'s writing prompt more, so go figure.

I thought that overall, the Feb test was easier for me.

English- pretty much always easy for me
Math- easier for me, 40-60 was harder for me last time, this time it was only 50-60.
Reading- easier than normal
Science- much easier for me, I think I paced myself better. I didn't finish last time but I had enough time this test.

Dec I got a 30.
Hoping for a 32+ this time.

I thought this writing prompt was easier to organize. The last one was pretty subjective, so floundering for body paragraphs is the best way I can describe my organization for the Dec. test lol. This one I didn't have as much of an opinion on, but it was pretty easy to pull literary, historical, and personal examples from.
